Edgeweek is an annual celebration of technology in Austin. The Austin Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the City of Austin economic development group will promote a week long series of independent events, programs and happenings celebrating the technology industry, Austin’s largest commercial industry. By tying together multiple smaller events in the industry, we can promote a larger product to a diverse audience for wider national appeal. Groups such as potential investors, large tech companies, and technology media may not travel to Austin for one event, but if we tie the events together as a series of events surrounded by an overall theme used to promote this important business sector, it will generate the momentum to draw potential significant players to the area.
